Our history, our mission
The goal of the “Casa della Speranza” O.D.V.E.T.S. Association is to give hope, alleviate hardships and provide tangible humanitarian aid. We are committed to supporting those most in need, both in Italy and abroad, through projects aiming to improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable individuals and communities. We believe that every act of solidarity can make a great difference.
Since the Association was founded in 2006 with a project to support families in Chad, over the years we have built up a strong network of active collaborations with many other organisations and associations. Together, we work on an ongoing basis to support projects in Italy, Africa, Ukraine and Romania.
Behind every success of the Association there’s our family, friends and all the volunteers who support us with passion and dedication. They are the very core of our mission, thanks to their constant commitment and selfless spirit.

Our Projects
New hospital “Cuori Grandi” in Togo & new water wells
One of our most ambitious and significant projects is the construction of the new “Cuori Grandi” hospital in Togo. The hospital will welcome the poorest communities in the surrounding villages, providing essential medical care and treatments. In 2026, two new wells will also be completed in the villages of Amakpapè and Asrama.
Donations for Ukraine
Since the start of the invasion of Ukraine, we have been committed to helping displaced families through our work and with the support of our clients – hotels, hospitals and many other organisations – by sending food, second-hand furniture still in excellent condition, medical aids, clothing and vehicles. We would like to thank all the companies and voluntary organisations in Italy and Ukraine.
Collection & recovery of disused furniture
We collect disused furniture, medical aids and equipment from hospitals, care homes, organisations and schools – to provide tangible support to the most vulnerable communities and families. Through this initiative, we support those who most need it, strengthening community ties and contributing to a circular and sustainable economy.
